Congratulations - you and your loved
one are about to be married.
PRE
MARRIAGE EDUCATION and COUNSELLING :-
One of the factors
in getting married is for the couple to REALLY UNDERSTAND what they are
getting themselves into. Marriage is wonderful, BUT, you need to come
to grips with the times when things might not go as planned. After the
Honeymoon is over, you go back to work, start your married life together,
settle into your new home or flat. There are plenty of times when things
might be a "little testy"... you need to be able to identify
these times, and how to cope with your partner's distress. Nobody is perfect,
you need to build on your new relationship.
Many people "live together" before getting formally married,
but even if you are in this category be honest with yourself
and say "Do I really know this person ?"
For those contemplating marriage, professional help and guidance
is readily available in the form of PRE-MARRIAGE EDUCATION and COUNSELLING.
The Australian Government Form
14A outlines how to cope with some problems, legal issues such as
wills, joint property and other issues.
It is a very important document, and I will give you a copy of Form
14A at our first interview, together with information on several
Pre Marriage Education courses.
